Air Compliance Program Support, Fort Leonard Wood, MO
Project Description: Providing air compliance programmatic support for the installation ensuring conformance with Clean Air Act and Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) requirements.
- Providing on-site technical staff working directly with the Army to help them achieve the air compliance program objectives
- Operate, maintain, perform troubleshooting and repair, and report results of an ambient air monitoring system in compliance with Missouri Dept. of Natural Resources (MDNR) Permit Number 082002-024D
- System monitoring and maintenance for the tapered-end oscillating microbalance (TEOM) monitors
- Perform stack testing for two natural gas-fired engines each year to meet federal requirements for emission limits in accordance with 40 Code of Federal Regulations Part 60, Subpart JJJJ
- Prepare and submit all regulatory reports as required by permit // Conduct daily (365 days/year) data evaluation and reporting for emissions related to installation training
- Evaluate new proposed emissions sources, including air emissions implications under NEPA for proposed actions CAA permitting support includes actively participating in negotiations with MDNR regarding CAA Title V permit modifications
- Programmatic support includes technical assistance, data analysis, developing and maintaining an air emissions inventory database, ensuring Title V compliance
